Like a volcano, we all have potential.
Potential to be a leader.
Potential to be an entrepreneur.
Potential to graduate college.
Some of us are active in the sense that they are confident and acquiring success.
They earned a degree.
They received a promotion.
They love their job.
While those who are dormant compare what they’ve achieved to the things of others. They sometimes feel discouraged and often have a reason or an excuse behind why they settled.
They want to change career paths, but don’t want to go back to school.
They want a specific job, but don’t have the required experience.
They don’t like their job, but don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Don’t settle.
It doesn’t do you any good to do something that you do not enjoy. You are not responsible to please others. Instead, do more of what makes you happy. Work on what’s important to you. If you want something go for it.
“The definition of insanity is doing the
same thing over and over again,
but expecting different results,” Albert Einstein.
It’s time to make a change, to put effort into becoming the person you can become.
Start by creating a list. A list of things you want to change or a list of things you want to accomplish. Think about why it has taken you so long. Even if you don’t succeed, you will have gained knowledge and experience.
“Knowledge comes with experience,
experience comes with lesson learned,
lesson learned comes with mistake,” Ruskin Kwofie.
As you become a person that you admire, you will be able to bring out the potential in others to do the same.
