In the worst moments, it can feel like you’re on your own.
You can feel overwhelmed by the distance between where you are now and where you want to go.
Pause for a moment and imagine a sporting event, a concert, or a show.
Typically, people attend these events with enthusiasm. They walk into the stadium, theater, or arena with the hopes that things will go well. They aren’t wishing that their team loses or that the movie is terrible. In other words, the emphasis is on the positive, rather than the negative.
The same is true elsewhere.
People want you to succeed so that they can use you as a reference to succeed themselves.
For instance, I want you to succeed.
I want you to find your way, to take risks, be bold, and to find yourself doing better than you could have imagined.
So, while you continue down the road and run into challenging opportunities, know that while there may be people who are against you, there are also those who are for you.
People want you to succeed.
