When everything is going right, good leadership seems easy to do.
Under good leadership people are happy, tasks are getting done, and everything is seamless.
It’s an illusion if I say that it’ll be like that forever.
Because at some point in time, we’ll face tough times.
For example, right now. Right now, there’s a lot going on. People all over the world are experiencing things that they didn’t see coming.
What’s important during times like these (maybe now more than ever), is to push ahead.
Try not to let what’s happening around you affect you.
People are counting on you.
You might be thinking that you are just (say your name), and what difference you can make.
But guess what, “to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world!”
We may all have bad days from time to time, but that doesn’t mean we stop doing what we’re doing or being who we are. Whether during good or bad times, the responsibilities of a leader look about the same. That’s because people still want someone to confide in, to trust in, and to help them.
Despite our current situation being negative, communities are helping one another, families are spending more time together, businesses that can are giving back.
Good can certainly come from something bad.
As Thomas Rhett says in his song, “in a world full of hate, be a light… in a place that needs a change, make a difference…don't hide in the dark, you were born to shine.”
You just might be that something good.
